Introduction
Zaixos Voice is AI text-to-speech / voice-over software operated by ZAIXOS. It lets you create audio from text using Ready Voices, browse a Voice Library, and use Studio and related workspace features on the web and in the ZAIXOS Voice Android application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you visit https://voice.zaixos.com, create an account, use our Studio, dashboard, Android app, or related services (collectively, the "Service").
This policy applies to visitors, registered users, and anyone who interacts with the Service. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.
For privacy questions or requests, contact us at hello@zaixos.com. When you write to us, include the email address associated with your Zaixos Voice account if you have one.
Information We Collect
We collect information in the categories below depending on how you use the Service. We collect only what is reasonably necessary to operate the Service, provide support, enforce plan limits, and maintain security.
A. Account information
When you create or sign in to an account, we process information such as:
- Name
- Email address
- Account identifier and authentication information
- Interface language preference (locale), where enabled
- Profile image URL, if provided by your sign-in provider
- Plan assignment and account status
When ZAIXOS Account sign-in is enabled, authentication and primary account credentials are handled through the ZAIXOS identity platform. Zaixos Voice receives account details needed to establish your session and operate your workspace.
B. Content you provide
When you use the Service, you may provide:
- Text submitted for speech creation
- Voice selections, languages, and voice settings
- Project names and descriptions, if you use Projects
- Support or contact messages you send to us
- App key labels, if you create app access keys on eligible plans
C. Usage information
To provide the Service and enforce plan limits, we record usage information such as:
- Characters used during your billing period
- Audio creation counts and timestamps
- Selected voices and languages associated with your audio
- Account activity related to billing, history, and dashboard features
D. Technical information
Like most online services, we automatically process certain technical information, including:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Operating system and device information
- Request metadata and server logs
- Session identifiers and activity timestamps
If you try the Service without signing in, we may store limited session information to enforce guest try limits and associate anonymous tries with your browser session until you create an account or clear your session.
E. Mobile application information
When you use the ZAIXOS Voice Android app, we also process:
- Authentication tokens stored securely on your device to keep you signed in
- App requests to our Voice API over HTTPS
- Optional rewarded-ad events used to grant free credits after you choose to watch an ad
- Device advertising identifiers and related ad measurement data when Google AdMob (or a successor Google mobile ads SDK) is enabled
F. Payment information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider. ZAIXOS does not store full payment card numbers in the Zaixos Voice application. We may retain billing-related records such as subscription status, plan, payment status, amount, currency, and transaction references needed for billing support and accounting.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes:
- Providing and operating the Service, including Ready Voices speech creation
- Managing your account, workspace, history, and preferences
- Calculating character usage and enforcing monthly plan limits
- Processing subscriptions, payments, and billing support where applicable
- Providing customer support and responding to inquiries
- Maintaining security, preventing abuse, and detecting unauthorized activity
- Improving reliability, troubleshooting errors, and protecting the Service
- Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Service
We do not use your submitted text or created audio to improve shared Ready Voices.
Generated Audio and User Content
When you submit text for speech creation, we process that text to create audio output. For standard Ready Voices audio, we store the submitted text, audio details, and resulting audio file so you can access your history, download output, and manage your workspace.
You may delete eligible completed Ready Voices audio from your History. Deletion removes the associated database record and stored audio file for that audio, subject to backup and operational retention described below.
We access user content only as needed to operate the Service, provide support, enforce limits, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and comply with law. We do not use your submitted text or created audio to improve shared voices.
Third-Party Services and Processors
We rely on trusted third-party services to operate Zaixos Voice. These providers handle information only as needed to perform services on our behalf or as otherwise described below.
| Provider / category | Role | Information that may be processed |
|---|---|---|
| Speech creation partner | Creating Ready Voices audio | Submitted text, selected voice, and information needed to create your audio |
| ZAIXOS Account / identity platform | Authentication and account sign-in when enabled | Name, email, account identifiers, and authentication/session data |
| Payment processor (Paddle, via ZAIXOS Account when billing is enabled) | Subscription and payment processing | Billing details, payment status, and transaction references; card data is handled by the payment processor, not stored in full by Zaixos Voice |
| Hosting and service providers | Application hosting, storage, and operations | Account data, content, and information needed to run the Service |
| Google Fonts | Web font delivery | Basic technical information such as IP address and browser data when fonts are loaded |
| Advertising partners (when Free-plan ads, guest rewarded ads, or Android rewarded ads are enabled) | Showing optional in-product or in-app rewarded ads | Limited technical information needed to deliver an ad, which may include device advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID on Android), IP address, and ad interaction signals; when Google AdMob is used in the Android app, Google’s ad and measurement technologies apply under Google’s policies |
| Mobile application platforms | Distributing the Android app and enabling optional rewarded ads | App usage needed to operate the free Android experience, authentication tokens stored on device, and ad-related identifiers when ads are shown |
We may update the providers we use as the Service evolves. We require service providers to handle information under appropriate contractual and security obligations, subject to their own terms and policies where applicable.
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to applicable legal, accounting, security, and operational requirements.
| Category | Retention approach |
|---|---|
| Account data | Retained while your account is active and as needed thereafter for support, billing, security, or legal purposes |
| Generated audio and submitted text | Retained until you delete eligible items from History or request removal, unless longer retention is required by law or backups |
| Usage records and billing periods | Retained to calculate monthly usage, display account history, and support billing |
| Billing and payment records | Retained as needed for subscription management, accounting, and dispute resolution |
| Support communications | Retained as needed to respond to and document support requests |
| Security and server logs | Retained for a limited period appropriate for security monitoring and troubleshooting |
Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Measures relevant to the current Service include:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for web traffic
- Hashed password storage for local authentication accounts
- Authentication and authorization controls for account access
- Server-side validation of usage and plan limits
- Access controls on stored audio files
- Secure connections for speech creation
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to maintain safeguards appropriate to the nature of the Service. For a shorter, everyday summary, see our Security page.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:
- With service providers and partners that help us operate the Service
- With payment processors to handle subscriptions and payments
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
- To protect the rights, safety, and security of ZAIXOS, our users, or others
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections
We share only the information reasonably necessary for these purposes and require appropriate protections where applicable.
International Data Transfers
Because ZAIXOS may operate internationally, your information may be handled in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws in your jurisdiction.
Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers. If you have questions about how international handling applies to your use of the Service, contact us at hello@zaixos.com.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You can update certain account preferences, such as your display name, in Settings. If ZAIXOS Account sign-in is enabled, primary account credentials and email management may be handled through your ZAIXOS Account settings.
To exercise privacy rights or submit a privacy request, contact us at hello@zaixos.com with enough information for us to verify your request. We may need to confirm your identity before responding.
Account Deletion
You may delete individual eligible audio items from your History within the Service.
You can request deletion of your Zaixos Voice account and associated product data in either of these ways:
- In the ZAIXOS Voice Android app: Settings → Delete account
- On the web: visit https://voice.zaixos.com/account/delete (sign in with ZAIXOS Account when prompted), then confirm deletion
When you delete your Zaixos Voice account data, we remove or anonymize Voice product data associated with that account, including generations and stored audio files, projects, API keys, mobile access tokens, usage period counters, and rewarded-ad session records tied to the product. We also deactivate the local Voice user record so it can no longer sign in to Zaixos Voice.
ZAIXOS Account is a shared identity across ZAIXOS products. Deleting Zaixos Voice product data does not automatically delete your entire ZAIXOS Account for other ZAIXOS products. If you need full ZAIXOS Account deletion across products, contact us at hello@zaixos.com.
Some information may be retained where necessary for billing records, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backups for a limited period, or legal compliance. Aggregated or anonymized information that no longer identifies you may also be retained.
You may also contact us at hello@zaixos.com or through our Contact page for help with a deletion request.
Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for individuals who can enter into a binding agreement under applicable law in their jurisdiction. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization where required by law.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate consent, contact us at hello@zaixos.com and we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice where appropriate, such as through the Service or by email.
Your continued use of the Service after an updated policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated policy, except where applicable law requires a different form of consent.
