Characters, plans, and usage, explained simply
What counts toward your allowance, how plans fit real publishing, and when it is time to upgrade without the fine print fog.
Plans in ZAIXOS Voice are built around characters, the letters and spaces in the text you turn into speech. Understanding that one idea makes billing and limits easier to plan around.
What a character is
If you paste a script into Studio, the character count is basically the length of that text. Longer scripts use more of your allowance. Regenerating after edits uses characters again for the new run.
That is why a quick listen-and-trim pass on the script before you generate saves both time and usage.
Matching a plan to your publishing rhythm
Estimate a typical week: intro + main script + maybe one revision. Multiply by how often you publish. If you regularly bump into the limit mid-week, a higher plan is usually cheaper than stopping work.
- Hobby or trial: short clips and experiments.
- Weekly creators: room for full episodes plus light revisions.
- Teams: shared publishing with headroom for campaigns.
Billing stays with your ZAIXOS Account
Sign-in and paid plans connect through your ZAIXOS Account. When you are ready to upgrade, you manage the plan from there, so Voice stays focused on writing, generating, and downloading audio.
If something looks off in usage, check your recent Studio runs first, then contact support with the email on your account.
